::Save Girl Child
Sex-selective abortion is the practice of terminating a pregnancy based upon the predicted sex of the fetus using Prenatal Sex Determination Test. The selective abortion of female fetuses is most common in India where cultural norms value male children over female children. India\\\'s 2011 census shows a serious decline in the number of girls under the age of seven - activists fear eight million female fetuses may have been aborted between 2001 and 2011.
